The assumption that, a child is easier to treat than an adult, is proved wrong as children require consideration of genetic, physical, intellectual, family and other environmental factors. All these factors are to be considered in holistic treatment. Treatment may be lengthy as it is not only child but child in the context of family, school and larger community that may need time for ultimate recovery. Each child is an exceptional unduplicated unique individual requiring individualized assessment and management strategies to rectify the problem. Most cases require multimodal interventions which utilize child’s therapy with aggressive family intervention, other corrective measures
